The Yukon Food Security Conference is a biennial gathering happening in Yukon communities. The goal is to share knowledge and create opportunities for collaboration, so that we can work together to build more equitable and resilient regional food systems. It's also a vital space to showcase the incredible work being done by food champions, Yukon First Nations, community organizations, and the people that shape our food stories. We invite diverse voices to come together over delicious local food, around a warming fire, and surrounded by the mountains to connect, share stories, and and spark ideas that can shape our food futures.
In September, 2026, we celebrated the launch of the Mayo Food System Indicators Project on the traditional territory of the First Nation of Na-Cho Nyäk Dun. We gathered at the Na-Cho Nyäk Dun Garden to share insights from this community-led project and celebrate the work that was reflected in the final report.
